Transportation
  There are two ways for you to get to Larson Bay and Uyak Bay Lodge. You can fly commercial to Anchorage then on to Kodiak. From there you would take a 30 minute flight to Larson Bay. The second way is to charter a private flight from Achorage directly to Larson Bay. The flight from Achorage is about 45 minutes.
When you arrive at Larson Bay we will meet you at the landing strip and give you a ride back to the lodge. It is less than a mile to the lodge. 
If you decide to go salmon fishing, there will be float planes available to fly you to the Karluk river. After floating down the river and catching your limit of salmon, a plane will meet you and fly you back to the lodge. 
After your adventure we'll get you and your catch back on your way. The red pick-up shown here is full of salmon and halibut. Each box contains around 80 lbs of fish cleaned, vaccuum sealed and packed with dry ice.

To get your catch back home, you can either check the boxes in with your luggage or you can ship them overnight Fed-ex. If you check more than two pieces of luggage there will be an extra charge.
